A firm built on careful work and trust

Adhikara & Partners was founded in Jakarta in 2004 by a group of advocates who had previously worked in corporate law firms. In those early years, most of our work concerned company formation, business licensing, and contract advice for small and medium-sized businesses.

In 2012 we opened an office in Surabaya to follow clients operating in East Java. In 2018 we opened in Bali to handle property and family matters, including for foreign nationals planning to live or invest on the island.

Today we hold to the same principles: explain legal matters plainly, work carefully, and make no promises about outcomes we cannot control. Each matter is led by an advocate who takes responsibility for it.
